 My springbreak was honestly uneventful for the most part and kinda boring or well it just felt like I really did wasted it. On friday I got into some issues with my family then I just left home and reasonably got in more trouble since I lied to my family and was gone till 10PM. After that I didn’t really talk to them so I just started doing homework and late assignments out of frustration for a bit until I eventually kinda lost it and started getting distracted. After that my family watched Godzilla and it was actually pretty darn nice, I personally love Godzilla and everything he stands for, being a literal depiction of one of humanities worst atrocities is pretty scary but well recently he's super cool and like a hero kinda. I honestly spent the rest of break wasting time, sleeping, rotting in bed, eating and honestly thinking about mistakes I made.

 Today we were writing argumentative paragraphs, I kind’ve zoned out this entire week so I didn’t know why but I made sure to concentrate and complete the paragraphs as much as I can, I completed the prompt about student athletes needing compensation and I would say I did fairly well but my formatting was pretty bad. Mr Rease gave us a speech about missing assignments and I kinda feel guilty since all of my teachers give me chances but I keep letting them down, kinda wish it was last year when I was still functioning so they would know im not this much of a freeloader. I do hope I can continue to keep trying to keep focus in this class since english is one of my worst subjects and I need the most help here.

 Absent

 Today we didn’t necessarily review or learn anything however we did have an assignment that made usage of our writing skills which was to list out 6 goals and summarize them all. Overall thought inducing as I only really had one goal in general which was to learn about martial arts and understand it but now I have 6 more.

 Today we continued reading this play, as four of our classmates and teacher acted as these characters and narrator. The book seems somewhat real in a sense as the characters use slang and language that would be common in regular conversations, like with other books everyone speaks so formally with little mistakes in their speech making it seem somewhat unrealistic, in here it seems like a conversation you’d actually hear. At parts it got a little uncomfortable but at other parts it was relatable like when Troy and his son were disagreeing about their ways of life, his son may have been lazy and avoiding his responsibilities but he was chasing his passion or what he lead us to believe was his passion. That scene made the book feel much more relatable in my eyes as I can relate to his son as I too have avoided my life for the majority of it, except I’m not even sure why, but at a certain point in life, you need to face reality and decide whether your dreams are worth making your cur...
